Illiopolis/Niantic Public Library District
Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
October 26, 2025

The meeting was called to order by President Hildebrandt at 5:30 p.m. Present were Librarian Hopkins, Pratt, Shanle, and Bramel.

Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the September meeting were reviewed. Bramel moved to approve the minutes as read. Shanle seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.

Financial Reports
The financial reports for September were presented and reviewed. Pratt moved to approve the financial reports. Bramel seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.

Circulation and Materials
Circulation statistics and newly acquired materials were discussed.

Monthly Bills
The board reviewed the monthly bills. Shanle moved to approve the bills for payment. Pratt seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.

Old Business
Michael Coffman is currently working on the annual audit.

New Business
The library received tax revenue on October 9 from Macon County in the amount of $9,364.22. On October 15, the library received $2,820.49 from Sangamon County.

A meeting to work on the upcoming budget and levy needs to be set. Hopkins will reach out to other trustees to determine what evening works best.
