Illiopolis/Niantic Public Library District
Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
February 23, 2026

The meeting was called to order by President Hildebrandt at 5:38 p.m.

Board members present: Cromwell, Adams, Luna, and Bramel. Librarian Hopkins was also present.
Absent: Shanle and Pratt.

Approval of Minutes

The minutes of the January meeting were reviewed. Bramel moved to approve the minutes as read. Cromwell seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.

Financial Reports

The financial reports for January were presented and reviewed. Cromwell moved to approve the financial reports. Luna seconded the motion, and the motion carried unanimously.

Circulation and Materials

Circulation statistics and newly acquired materials were discussed.

Monthly Bills

The board reviewed the monthly bills. Cromwell moved to approve the bills for payment. Adams seconded the motion, and the motion carried unanimously.

Old Business

No old business was discussed.

New Business

No new business was discussed.

Adjournment

The meeting adjourned at 5:48 p.m.
