Illiopolis/Niantic Public Library District
Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
June 30, 2025

The meeting was called to order by President Hildebrandt at 5:32 p.m.
Present: Hopkins, Pratt, Shanle, Cromwell, Adams

April meeting minutes were reviewed. Shanle moved to approve; Adams seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
May meeting minutes were reviewed. Pratt moved to approve; Cromwell seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

April reports presented and reviewed. Cromwell moved to approve; Pratt seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
May reports presented and reviewed. Adams moved to approve; Cromwell seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

Circulation statistics and new materials were discussed.

Monthly bills were reviewed. Cromwell moved to approve for payment; Pratt seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

Old Business

The Summer Reading Program began in early June.

Children’s Programs: Three Tuesday evening events held; final one scheduled for tomorrow.
Adult Program: A cookie decorating class with 4/80 Treats was held on June 4, attended by 23 participants.

New Business

Received $9,500 from the Illiopolis Corporate Replacement Tax on June 11.
Received $28,743.22 from Sangamon County property taxes.
Annual approval for non-resident library cards was discussed.
Shanle moved to continue using the tax bill method; Adams seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

The meeting adjourned at 5:50 p.m.
