October 2023 minutes

Illiopolis/Niantic Public Library
October 23, 2023 meeting.

Hildebrandt called the meeting to order at 5:31 pm with the librarian Hopkins, Cromwell, Shanle, Luna, Pratt, Bramel, and Adams present.

The minutes of the September meeting were approved as read. Cromwell moved that the minutes be approved. Bramel seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Financial reports were read & approved for the month of September. Luna moved that the minutes be approved. Bramel seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Circulation and materials acquired were discussed.

Monthly bills were discussed. Cromwell moved that the bills be approved for payment. Bramel seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

OLD BUSINESS

No old business to report on.

NEW BUSINESS

We received $3,083.29 from Sangamon County property taxes and $11,359 from Macon County.

A budget meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 8 to prepare our budget and levy.

The next monthly meeting will be on November 20 at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting adjourned at 5:48 p.m.
