Board Meeting July 24, 2023

Hildebrandt called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. with the librarian Hopkins and trustees Cromwell. Luna, Pratt, and Adams present.

The minutes of the June meeting were approved as read. Luna moved that the reports be approved, Bramel seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Financial reports were read and discussed. Luna moved that the April reports be approved, Pratt seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Circulation and materials acquired were discussed.

Monthly bills were discussed. Bramel moved that the bills be approved for payment, Adams seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

OLD BUSINESS

Hopkins reported on the summer reading program. 64 signed up with 48 children and 16 adults. Thirty-four book logs were turned in for prizes.

NEW BUSINESS

Three bids for the parking lot were reviewed. Bramel made a motion to award the bid to Tom O'Laughlin Hauling, Adams seconds it, Luna abstained and the motion passed with no opposing votes.

Hopkins reported that Bryon Garner has stopped by twice and shown interest in building a kit to go over the memorial bench.

The meeting adjourned at 5:57 p.m.
