November 2023 minutes

Illiopolis/Niantic Public Library
November 20, 2023 meeting.

Hildebrandt called the meeting to order at 5:31 pm with the librarian Hopkins, Cromwell, Shanle, Luna, Pratt, and Bramel, present.

The minutes of the October meeting were approved as read. Bramel moved that the minutes be approved. Luna seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Financial reports were read & approved for the month of October. Cromwell moved that the minutes be approved. Pratt seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Circulation and materials acquired were discussed.

Monthly bills were discussed. Cromwell moved that the bills be approved for payment. Pratt seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

OLD BUSINESS

There is no old business to report on.

NEW BUSINESS

We received $2,266.31 from Sangamon County property taxes and $1704.75 from Macon County.

Hildebrandt presented the Prevailing Wage Ordinance with a motion to be approved by Luna. Cromwell seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Hildebrandt presented the tentative Budget 23-02 with a motion to be approved by Bramel. Shanle seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Hildebrandt presented the tentative Levy 23-03 with a motion to be approved by Bramel. Luna seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

The next monthly meeting will be on December 19 at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting adjourned at 6:01 p.m.
