OLD BUSINESS
Laura Cation started work as a fill-in employee on August 8. She has been very willing to work when needed and drops in to gain new work knowledge several hours a week.
The fence was moved on Friday, September 23 by Macon County Fence. Because of the gas line on the back lot, an additional 6 inches of the fence had to be moved on top of the 1.91 feet.
NEW BUSINESS
We received $16,360.55 from Sangamon County property taxes on September 7 and $9,904.98 from Macon County property taxes on September 14.
Mary Ellen Gass, our bookkeeper, is having great difficulty finding a firm willing to take us on. Our last audit cost $3500 and most want $10,000. After some discussion, the board was confident in having Mary Ellen go over our finances and reports and the board could self-audit themselves as we are not legally bound to have an audit performed.
The next meeting will be on November 28 at 5:30 p.m.
Meeting adjourned at 6:02 pm.
Secretary Shelley Hopkins
