OLD BUSINESS
Hopkins discussed the multiple emails, phone calls and voicemails she has left with the surveyor and he is not responding to any methods. Cromwell stated he did not return her phone call either. The board instructed Hopkins to have the fence from the back tree moved the 1.88 feet over.
NEW BUSINESS
The library received $8200 from the Illiopolis Corporate Replacement Tax. On average, the checks usually are between $2500-$3800.
The huge pile of dirt, debris, bricks, and tree roots in our driveway for months from the installation of a water meter at the rental house next door was finally cleaned up and reseeded on May 16. The gentleman doing the work used the extra dirt to fill in low places on our back lot. Our appreciation for his extra effort was relayed to him and the mayor.
The library ladies are working on the summer reading program and will make an announcement of dates and programs soon.
Meeting adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
