Board Meeting February 27, 2023

Hildebrandt called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM with the librarian Hopkins and trustees Cromwell, Shanle, Luna, Pratt, Adams, and Bramel present.

The minutes of the December meeting were approved as read. Bramel moved that the reports be approved, Cromwell seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes. The January minutes were approved as read. Luna moved that the reports be approved, Shanle seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Financial reports were read and discussed. Bramel moved that the December reports be approved, Luna seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes. January reports were read and discussed. Luna moved that the January reports be approved, Pratt seconds it and the motion carried with opposing votes.

Circulation and materials acquired were discussed.

Monthly bills were discussed. Cromwell moved that the bills be approved for payment, Bramel seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

OLD BUSINESS

Hopkins updated the board on the upcoming election. All positions could not be made into six-year terms so one of the four is a two-year unexpired term.

NEW BUSINESS

The winter reading program ended with 43 patrons enrolled, 30 children and 13 adults. 27 reading logs were turned in for prizes that were given away during a Facebook Live session.

The meeting adjourned at 5:51 PM
