December 20, 2021

Hildebrandt called the meeting to order at 5:33 pm with the librarian Hopkins and trustees Cromwell, Shanle, Luna, Bramel present. Worrell was not in attendance.

The minutes of the last three meetings (Novembers & two special meetings) were approved as read. Cromwell moved that the reports be approved. Luna seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Financial reports were read and discussed. Cromwell moved that the reports be approved. Shanle seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Circulation and materials acquired were discussed.

Monthly bills were discussed. Shanle moved that the bills be approved for payment. Cromwell seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

OLD BUSINESS

The budget meeting was opened at 5:45 p.m. with the review and passing of the budget and levy. Bramel moved that the Budget 21-02 be approved. Cromwell seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

Luna made a motion that the Levy 21-03 be approved. Bramel seconds it and the motion carried with no opposing votes.

The budget meeting was closed at 5:49 p.m.

The owners of the property north of the library had their property surveyed on Thursday, December 17. Worrell and Leonard Williams were present for the discovery of parcel pins. The entire block and park pins were found on top of the library ones that were exposed for three weeks in November. Hopefully, we will be able to see the final survey to compare with ours.

NEW BUSINESS

Fred Worrell has resigned.

Christmas bonuses and raises for the staff were discussed. Library clerks were given a .75 cent per hour raise and the librarian a 5% raise. Christmas bonuses will remain the same as last year with $50 for clerks and $200 for the library director.
